New-business leads · every Monday
Be the first call a brand-new business gets.
Ribbon Drop turns official government filings (permits, licenses, registrations) into a clean weekly list of businesses that just opened or are about to. Pick your industry and territory, then sell before your competitors know they exist.
- 4,100+ new businesses found last week
- 5 industries
- 100% public-record sources
How it works
We watch the filings
Our bots pull new health permits, liquor applications, state licenses, NPI numbers and USDOT registrations from official open-data sources every week.
We clean them up
Duplicates across agencies are merged, chains are flagged, individuals are removed, and every row is tagged with its source and a link to the government record.
You get the drop
Every Monday: a CRM-ready CSV and a readable PDF for your territory, de-duplicated against past weeks so you only see what's new.
Build your list
Pick an industry, then the territory you sell into. Prices update as you choose.

FAQ
Where does the data come from?
Official government records only, pulled through public open-data APIs and published files:
- Restaurants: city health permits (NYC DOHMH), state liquor applications (NY SLA, Texas TABC, and others), and city business licenses (Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle), plus Florida DBPR new food-service licenses.
- Beauty: state cosmetology and barbering establishment licenses (Florida DBPR, New York DOS) and city business registries.
- Contractors: state contractor licensing boards (Florida DBPR, Oregon CCB) and city registries.
- Healthcare: the federal CMS NPPES weekly file of new organization NPIs (public domain).
- Trucking: the FMCSA Company Census file of new USDOT registrations (U.S. DOT open data).
We don't scrape sites that require a login, and every row links back to its source record.
Is there any personal data in the lists?
No. Ribbon Drop is business-only. We include registered business entities and the business contact details the agency publishes. We remove individual practitioners, sole-proprietor phone numbers, officer and owner names, personal emails and cell-phone fields. The healthcare lists contain organizations only, with no patient information of any kind.
How fresh is it, and how accurate?
Lists are delivered weekly and cover filings from the prior 7 days (city registries can lag up to 3 weeks). A filing is a strong signal, not a guarantee: some are ownership changes or relocations. We flag likely chains and pre-opening status where the data supports it. Please verify before relying on any single record.
Which states do you cover?
Healthcare and trucking cover all 50 states. Restaurants currently cover NYC, Chicago, LA, SF, Seattle, the major Texas metros and Florida statewide, and are expanding. Beauty covers Florida and New York statewide plus LA, SF and Seattle. Contractors cover Florida and Oregon statewide plus LA, SF and Seattle. If your state isn't listed, join the waitlist and you won't be charged until it's live.
Can I contact the businesses on the list?
Yes, as a business-to-business contact. You are responsible for following CAN-SPAM (honest sender and an opt-out on email), the TCPA (no autodialed or prerecorded calls or texts without consent) and Do-Not-Call rules.
What format do I get?
A CRM-ready CSV (stage, business, address, phone where published, category, signal, date, source link) and a formatted PDF every Monday by email. CRM/API sync is available as an add-on.
Can I cancel?
Anytime, from your billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month or year you've paid for. You keep your deliveries until then and aren't charged again. We don't give partial refunds, so ask for a free sample week first. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
